About Us
My love for the western lifestyle began in my early teens and continues today. After 14 successful years of teaching (mostly Jr. High special needs children) in Dallas, TX.; Colorado Springs, CO.; Southlake, TX.; Phoenix, AZ.; and Lewisville, TX. I chose to quit and seek new adventures. During this time my love for rodeo began and for 35 years I've been a supporter of Professional Rodeo and have traveled to many arenas across the United States, Canada and Australia. ( I've even played taxi driver, cook, hostess and all-around go-for to many contestants as well. )
My job with the Texas Sesquicentennial -Wagon Train (1986) gave my parents and me the opportunity to travel our Great State of Texas. Other jobs within the tourism industry followed. In 1989 I created "Riding The Right Roads"- The Texas Travel Encyclopedia; traveling across Texas to cities with rodeo arenas and drawing maps to help rodeo contestants find needed facilities. What great adventures my dad, mom, aunt and I had in those 6 months. Of course travel had to wait til football season (#1 Dallas Cowboy fans) was over.
Since 1989, a wide variety of products were added to my inventory and travels have taken me across the U.S. to the wide variety of western events. Work on short term projects have fit in nicely, too. Especially enjoyable were working for Buckers (bucking bull breeding & marketing) in Fort Worth, the State Fair of Texas-Dallas (Agriculture Dept.), National Cowgirl Museum - Fort Worth, and Grapevine, TX Convention and Visitors Bureau.
Since 2003, taking care of family situations have kept me near home. This web business began 10/05 and since that time I have been able to reconnect with customers I call friends and make many new ones as I sell my products at western events across the United States. I look forward to any correspondence. (Photo was taken at my favorite tourist stop in downtown Dallas-huge cattle drive sculptures.)
